I have a 1990 camaro rs 6 cyl 3.1 and i have knocking noises in my car?

when im turning my car it sometimes makes a sound underneath my feet and the pengers feet and like under my engine and sometimes under my shifter i have an automatic trans and when i brake i hear it and when i stop at lights then go it does thanks
