Do men really act like uncivilized barbarians when they are together?

In the movies men always become these phobic crazed idiots especially ones in the military. Need I say if they are this sopric no wonder we are getting our s kicked in Iraq. Anyway, I notice sometimes my boyfriend acts sort of stupid around his friends and that's when I'm with them, i wonder how much more caveman like they act when no woman is there. How do they act? Is it as bad as they make them in the movies?
