Do parents have the right to punish their child?

you cant be serious, kids need to learn right from wrong and in some causes to teach them this you need to punish them....no one likes to punish their kids, they are their pride and joy but you dont want them to be brats and just do what they want and take over cuz they know your not going to do anything about it....kids need to be punished its the way of life and will help them learn in the long run......all the best and take care
