Is 8 books worth of diary alot?

Just counted them all, they take up about half of the bottom of my book self. I mean i dont even write alot. Maybe once every two months ill write a quick couple pages, and in the summer ill go crazy but i tear out a ton of paper and waste it on single large quotes names or tallies. Is this too obsessive? how many finished diarys do you ahve?
