We need to retire to Nevada due to the absence of state taxes....should we look at Reno or Las Vegas??

Las Vegas is Reno on a much larger scale, the pros and cons would depend on what kind of lifestyle you're after. If you can afford and like to go to the best restaurants in the country, and shop for all the latest and European fashions, and enjoy all the shows and operas, Las Vegas is the choice. If you prefer small city where everything is not as glamorous, or enjoy skiing in winter, Reno is better, this city has 4 distinct seasons, and summer is not as hot as in Las Vegas.
