What is the type of car insurence policy, where you have time restrictions?

I heard an item on the radio a few months ago, where a guy had a policy that didn't allow him to drive between certain times. There was also a kind of black bot in his car that knew when he was driving. Hace tried to google it but just get bombarded with other insurence companies all claiming to be the cheapest!
